Once, again I’m very happy to share my class 2 internship experience with you, let’s get in to the point.

The class started at 9.05 PM on a very positive high note that first assignment completion rate which is about 87% and Deepak felt very happy about it, and then he shared the link for Facebook and Telegram group links, exclusively created for the interns. Then he started discussion about the last assignment progression, payment, assessment, submission date, next class date etc.

Learn-> Do -> Teach

Class started with the quote “Distraction is more harmful to the brain than drugs”.

He taught about “Golden Triangle”, you may think whether it’s similar to Bermuda Triangle, absolutely not. It’s a”Learn > Do> Repeat”, what he insisted to say is, teaching someone will give us clear understanding of the concept, that’s it.

Mistakes are future benefits”, I hope everyone would agree with this.

It was emphasized that if you really wanted to internalize your learning, you must apply. Its ‘OK’ if you make mistakes while initial application of Learning, but apply, you must do.

Marketing is all of Communication

As an effective communicator, you need to be authentic. Everyone is tired of fake people in this digital era. How communication plays a major role in marketing. He also gave few suggestions like, whether we are writing an email, it should be like we are talking to a friend i.e, in friendly manner and it should state some audience mind set, we should be able to provide some solution to their problem.

Eg: If we are running a Job searching portal, we should point out as, “are you a talented engineer, searching for a job, we are here to help”. This statement is friendly manner and also it stated the audience /customer problem, right?

You must be a master for one to one communication if you want to master for one to many communication as part of digital marketing.

Who is a Better Marketer?

A marketer with a lot of life experiences can relate to his/her audience in a much better way. So, to become a better marketer, travel more, learn new languages, Do new things all the time.

If you wish to master marketing you must expose yourself as much as possible by way of travelling, reading, learning new languages and doing new things all the time.

Defining Your Target Customer

It is basic and very important to define who your target customer is. Otherwise, we would be trying to be everything to everyone.

To complete this, you need to define the demographics and psychographics of the target audience.

The target customers are already having a conversation in their minds about their needs or problems. As a marketer, you need to join that conversation and NOT create a new conversation.

To join their mental conversations, write as if you are writing to one person of a particular kind, with a specific need. In spite of the size of your audience, all of them are alone with their devices when you communicate with them.

So, emailing or direct messaging is more powerful than public posts on social media.

When writing, focus on one thing at a time; Headline. A first sentence related to the headline. The second sentence is about the first sentence. The third sentence from the second sentence and so on.

How to Communicate Better?

  • Addressing people by their first name, building rapport and writing as if you converse with a friend helps to communicate better.
  • Joining conversations in their minds like ;
  • How can I make money online or
  • How do I earn through online.
  • Defining the target audience, talking to them, getting to know their needs, pain points, etc. through interactions, calls, surveys, etc.

Once done all of these, people feel they know you when you meet them.

Audience: Focus on the Center and not on the border.

The argument stressed on is that when we communicate with people, conversation involving our own life experience will improve the trustworthiness of our audience.

The important thing is “Unlearn what you know and learn new things”.

Who, how?

Deepak illustrated a live customer avatar by asking us to fill out the survey and to publish the results.

Then choose some of the questions from the survey and post it to the Facebook group. Then asked us to comment the percentage, who matches the profile, then he chose a person Sagar Bhalerao, he’s the one volunteer, shortlisted from the 100% match. Deepak analyzes his profile and says he want to write an article to convince or satisfy a person like Sagar Bhalerao, just an example, demonstrated by him.

The final call

He shared the customer’s avatar design and asked us to take a survey of 2 people from our selected niches and publish it along with the experience of the 2nd class of the internship, and that’s the end of the session.

Finally, he read all our comments and cleared our doubts regarding the assignment and signed off.

Party !!!

After, the internship completion, he said that party will be arranged along with the graduation.

What is the benefit from the survey?

It will be difficult to learn from the two persons to publish posts in blogs. But, from the survey questions, I’ll able to get complete details, because I have received,

· Age, which makes to write content whether it may be trendy or professional based on the age group

· Gender & Age — helps me, whether to use adult jokes for interaction or not.

· Time spends on reading blog posts and watching YouTube videos on money making, through which I can find how much time that they are ready to spend.

· Read/Watch, helps me to choose whether to write more posts or upload more videos.

· Money making channel/genre helps me to post more updates or videos related to that genre

· Money making news that helps to post which type of content that users want more, reduces my time

· Remaining is just formal things information.
